Starting in January 2016 and funded for three years by the German Research Foundation (DFG), project CONQUAIRE – Continuous Quality Control for Research Data to Ensure Reproducibility will focus on reproducibility and quality control during the research process in an institutional setting.
Headed by Prof. Dr. Philipp Cimiano, CITEC’s Semantic Computing Group together with nine research groups and Bielefeld University Library will develop services and tools to support researchers when creating/collecting data, versioning data (including code such as scripts used for analysis), and making their data reusable. This project aims to facilitate these tasks across the entire data lifecycle while ensuring a consistenty high data and metadata quality.
Based on subject-specific components, this project will identify generalised and re-usable workflows which will inform the further development of institutional research data infrastructures and policies.
